I've been using my trusty camera Minolta Dynax 5D for about 2 years. Sony bought over Minolta's digital camera department just after I bought it. The Alpha 100 was Sony's first attempt at entering this market. It was similar to my camera, with some additional features. I've been waiting for the release of a better camera, and to my delight, rumours are coming up everywhere about 2 new camera models and 5 new lenses. So this is my motivation for christmas! Gone are the days when I feel so restricted by my camera's limitations.
